A suite of modules was developed to address the current business challenges and key competency needs. Events were structured around the bank’s four management levels.
The 8,000 attendees were spread over 36 cities across 24 countries and the events had to be delivered in seven languages including German, Japanese, Russian, Italian and Spanish. Workshops focused on underlying beliefs and mindsets, designed to give attendees the tools to become more effective leaders, communicators and coaches. The end-of-event commitments of MDs and directors were published and used during leadership reviews.
Thirteen months after the first workshop, the bank ran its first divisional survey. The survey showed year-on-year improvement in the scores for commitment, enablement and performance resulting in a 13 point increase (against our original target of 5 points
